So here I am! This is not another blog talking about diets and advising to kill yourself exercising just to get fit. This is a place to share how I started living a healthy lifestyle sharing recipes, tips and experiences I have had since I started this journey.
I am an engineer (big surprise, huh?); I moved abroad some years ago and I started eating tons of packaged food, chips, doughnuts… I also joined a gym but I’d say I didn’t use to go very often :$
A few years ago, I went rollerblading with some friends (I’ve been skating since I was 4!) and I realised how poor my physical condition was (I felt really clumsy despite I’ve been rollerblading for years!) and I used to feel really tired most of the time. So I decided to make a change.
I started reading about what kind of food I should eat to avoid food cravings and increasing my energy levels. After a while I understood that there’s a huge industry with lots of interests behind so it’s kind of tricky to make choices about what we should really eat to feel good phisically and mentally. This is one of the reasons which brought me to start studying Natural Nutrition and Dietetics.
Experiencing and trying new foods, such as chia seeds, spirulina or maca, has helped me to realize that each body is completely different and there’s no a unique answer or “magic” response to meet everyone needs. Learning to understand your body is a key to find out what is better for you because we are all naturally different.
Now, I feel stronger and healthier than I have ever felt in my life!
This is the beggining of a blog where health matters, food quality counts and diets dissapeared.
Please do not hesitate to contact me at any time. Healthy habits are my passion, and I would love to talk with you about it! 🙂
